Local Museums

Discover the characters and history of Breckenridge, established in 1859: Barney Ford & Edwin Carter Museums: 10 am to 3 pm; Free, donations appreciated. Welcome Center Museum: 10-4

Darker History Tour,  4-5:30 pm
 $25 per person-Must be 21 and over. Learn more and book tickets. 
This downtown stroll explores the seedier side of Breckenridge history. You will learn local saloon lore, from madams and mayhem to murder, from rot-gut whiskey to the goings-on of the red light district. Throw one back in the tasting room of Breckenridge’s award-winning distillery and enjoy this tour about the bawdy side of Breckenridge’s history.


 




Spirits Seminar: Taste the Terroir- SOLD OUT!

For tequila lovers- Explore the difference between Blanco, Reposado and Anejo. What about Mezcal- see how the terroir and production styles affect taste. Limit 15pp. $40

 Walk through History

11-12:30 pm and 2-3:30 pm

This is our signature tour of Breckenridge’s National Historic District. View historic buildings from log cabins to stately residences. Hear stories of gold strikes, robberies, business booms and busts, skiing pioneers and much more. It covers about six town blocks and goes up and down a few small hills. $20/person | $10/child (ages 4-12). Walk-ups are welcome. Tours start at the Breckenridge Welcome Center. 



  



'Batch, Bottle, and Chill' with Chase Langham-Minor

Ease the stress of holidays and gatherings by preparing and chilling batched freezer cocktails - ready to rip when the doorbell rings! Learn perfect proportions and dilutions for classic gin and vodka martinis and bourbon old fashioneds to batch, bottle, and chill. Multiply batch recipes for any size gathering or for apres-ski sipping all week long. Replace that canned cocktail with a frosty martini, prepared just as you like it, ready at your fingertips.



 Still on the Hill Grand Tasting

Riverwalk Center, 4-7 pm. The premier craft spirits tasting in Colorado- it is just a blast!  Our finest distillers share their talents. Fun times, snacks from local restaurants and the best spirits! Bluegrass music by Local Folk will keep you groovin'. People’s choice voting for distillers- get your vote in by 6:30pm. You must be 21 years old to enter. This is a no pet event. Tickets are $70 in advance and $80 day of, if not sold out. Proceeds benefit the Community Partners of the Breckenridge Restaurant Association.

Local restaurants will be providing a taste of their menus: Breckenridge Distillery, Fatty's, Prospector, Radicato, Rootstalk, Salt Creek, SoupzOn and Twist. Enjoy this expanded element to get a sense of the local restaurant scene.

Bloody Sunday Hangover Brunch

 Various restaurants around town will be featuring craft-spirit cocktails and/or breakfast, brunch or lunch menus with many football viewing options also available. Relax and soak up the vibe around town. Catch the Broncos game at our many sports bars.

  
Breckenridge Distillery Tour
Take a behind-the scenes tour of our Distillery’s production facility. This abbreviated tour starts by tasting our award-winning Breckenridge Vodka and Breckenridge Gin in our original production facility. The Distillery’s expert guides will take guests on a 30 min tour and finish up the experience with a tasting of our Breckenridge Bourbon Whiskey. Tours are $20/person, reservation only and include a take-home signature Glen Carin tasting glass. Upgrade your tasting experience for $10, see below. Tours are located at the Breckenridge Distillery, 1925 Airport Road.
