Join Castaways Cove Owner, Michael Beseda, as we explore the world of aged rums. Including selections from Planteray, Flor De Cana and Appleton. Additional supplements from Four Square and Black Tot Last Consignment are also available. Get your groove on with this Colorado Cowpunk & Rockabilly Blues band at one of the locals favorite spots! This 4-piece band features drums, vocals, lead and bass guitars. Kick off the weekend with high-energy booty shakin' Whiskey drinkin' Roots Twang. Originally formed in the early 2000's, influenced by: Sun Record Company, Stray Cats, Reverend Horton Heat, Beat Farmers, Blasters. Opened for The Bodeans, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Split Lip Rayfield, The Railbenders, and The Young Dubliners. Check it out!



SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4

 Walk through History

11-12:30 pm and 2-3:30 pm

This is our signature tour of Breckenridge’s National Historic District. View historic buildings, hear stories of gold strikes, robberies, business booms and busts, skiing pioneers and much more. It covers about six town blocks. $20/person | $10/child (ages 4-12). Walk-ups are welcome. Tours start at the  Breckenridge Welcome Center.




11-1 pm
This 1.5-mile guided hike goes through what used to be an active hydraulic mine site (Iowa Hill). After exploring the boardinghouse, you’ll enjoy an authentic miner’s lunch provided by Hotel Alpenrock before taking the burro trail back down. The Mining History Association named Iowa Hill the best hydraulic mining exhibit in the world. $35 per person. 



  




 Still on the Hill Grand Tasting

Riverwalk Center, 4-7 pm. The premier craft spirits tasting in Colorado- it is just a blast!  Our finest distillers share their talents. Fun times, gourmet bites from local restaurants and the best spirits! Bluegrass music by Local Folk will keep you groovin'. People’s choice voting for distillers- get your vote in by 6:30pm. You must be 21 years old to enter. This is a no pet event. Tickets are $70 in advance and $80 day of, if not sold out. Proceeds benefit the Community Partners of the Breckenridge Restaurant Association.

Local restaurants will be providing a taste of their menus: Breckenridge Distillery, Castaways Cove, Fatty's, Mi Casa, Prospector, Radicato, Rootstalk, Salt Creek, SoupzOn, Twist and Whiskey Star Smokehouse. Enjoy this expanded element to get a sense of the local restaurant scene.

Breckenridge Distillery Tour
Take a behind-the scenes tour of our Distillery’s production facility. Start by tasting our award-winning Breckenridge Vodka and Breckenridge Gin in our original production facility. Expert guides will take guests on a 30 min tour and finish up with a tasting of our Breckenridge Bourbon Whiskey. Tours are available Wed-Sun, at 12, 2, and 4 p.m. Tours are $35/person, by reservation only and include a take-home signature Glencairn tasting glass. Upgrade your tasting experience for $10. Tours are located at the Breckenridge Distillery, 1925 Airport Road.

The Restaurant Association awarded about $13,000 in scholarships in 2025 alone!
