FRIDAY, OCTOBER 6

Hike the Golden Horseshoe! 9-11am

This 2.5 mile guided hike takes you through one of Colorado’s most fertile mining regions and home to dozens of early mining operations. See the remains of the historic Reiling dredge boat and hear about early mining and its environmental impacts. Great views abound on this scenic adventure! $25/person | $15/child (ages 4-12). Reservations required.

Discover the characters and history of Breckenridge, established in 1859: Barney Ford & Edwin Carter Museums: 10 am to 3 pm; Free, donations appreciated. Welcome Center Museum: 10-4

Workshop: The Art of the Espresso Martini and

The Espresso Martini is a classic cocktail that has recently returned to popularity. Come learn the history of this cocktail and explore the technique to making the perfect espresso martini. We will also explore the category of spirits called Amaro. Max 20 people. Get your tickets- $20.

A Spirits-Inspired Dinner at Hearthstone- 6 pm


Get the weekend started at the Hearthstone with a five-course dinner with paired cocktails. $150 per person, including tax and gratuity. Limit 25 people.


Warmly decorated in Victorian-period style, this romantic restaurant has great views across town to the Breckenridge Ski Resort and the majestic Ten Mile Range.

A.D. Laws Whiskey collaborates with Rootstalk for a special dinner focusing on the early haul of autumnal ingredients and pairing with some very special spirits. 4 courses with mixed beverage pairings for $90 per person. Let's get back to our Roots, and dive into some of the best Colorado spirits and produce. Limit 27 people.


Rootstalk is a modern American restaurant serving Chef Matt Vawter's take on elevated everyday dining. Focusing on dinner service with approachable seasonal food, thoughtfully curated wine and beverage lists, and creative and fun libations.

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 7

 Walk through History

11-12:30 pm and 1:30-3 pm

This is our signature tour of Breckenridge’s National Historic District. View historic buildings from log cabins to stately residences. Hear stories of gold strikes, robberies, business booms and busts, skiing pioneers and much more. It covers about six town blocks and goes up and down a few small hills. $20/person | $10/child (ages 4-12). Walk-ups are welcome. Tours start at the Breckenridge Welcome Center. 



  



Workshop: Ahoy! an introduction to Rums from around the world- 11 am at Castaways


Come join the crew at Castaways Cove as we explore the world of rum from production to regional styles and cocktails. We will start the day on the high seas with a welcome cocktail as well as samples of various products. Max 40 pp. Get your tickets- $20pp

Workshop: Etch a Tasting Glass- Randall Barn, 12-3pm


In this drop-in workshop, you'll learn to safely use etching cream to personalize your Still on the Hill tasting glass. All materials will be provided. This activity is first come, first served on a rolling basis (max 8 pp at a time). Cost $10pp- pay at the door.


 Still on the Hill Grand Tasting

Riverwalk Center, 4-7 pm. The premier craft spirits tasting in Colorado- it is just a blast!  Our finest distillers share their talents. Fun times, snacks from local restaurants and the best spirits! Bluegrass music by Local Folk will keep you groovin'. People’s choice voting for distillers- get your vote in by 6:30pm. You must be 21 years old to enter. This is a no pet event. Tickets are $70 in advance and $80 day of, if not sold out. Proceeds benefit the Community Partners of the Breckenridge Restaurant Association.

Local restaurants will be providing a taste of their menus: Blue River Bistro, Breck Distillery, The Carlin, Castaways, Fatty's, Horseshoe, Radicato, Rootstalk. Enjoy this expanded element to get a sense of the local restaurant scene.

Bloody Sunday Hangover Brunch

 Various restaurants around town will be featuring craft-spirit cocktails and/or breakfast, brunch or lunch menus with many football viewing options also available. Relax and soak up the vibe around town. 

  

Breckenridge Distillery Tour
Take a behind-the scenes tour of our Distillery’s production facility. This abbreviated tour starts by tasting our award-winning Breckenridge Vodka and Breckenridge Gin in our original production facility. The Distillery’s expert guides will take guests on a 30 min tour and finish up the experience with a tasting of our Breckenridge Bourbon Whiskey. Tours are $20/person, reservation only and include a take-home signature Glen Carin tasting glass. Upgrade your tasting experience for $10, see below. Tours are located at the Breckenridge Distillery, 1925 Airport Road.
